			On April 1st, 2004 Advanced Material Japan Corporation (AMJ) started its new operat-Ion after taking over the history of Chori Advanced Material Corporation. In Chori, we started from the transformation goods section, tungsten and the molybdenum were started 30 years ago, and we began to import all almost rare metals such as rare earthes, antimony, tantalums, and zirconiums. However, the high-technology industry in the 70's was small scale and the rare metal was not paid attention. The translation that started the develop-and-import scheme of the rare metal of China in that situation as the pioneer though only the Kuangchou trade association in spring and autumn had the chance of dealings in China at that time when Cultural Revolution ends. Our German platform place because no one thought that China was transfigured to the large supply country like today at that time. The second oil crises hit Japan in 1979. Cobalt and the molybdenum for the catalyst have risen suddenly. It was called, "Mineral shock" for the industrial world at that time by the first experience of postwar days. After conservation of energy and technological development, Japan of the 80's showed a sense of existence as a technological founding a state that had exactly changed the crisis at the chance getting over oil crisis in the world. The inside and the rare metal of such an environment became key materials that stuck to our life. The supply source of the rare metal material has expanded to Russia and Central Asia with the breakup of the whole Soviet Union when entering the 90's. The silk road railway project by ODA and the Resource Development inquiry by Metal Mining Agency of Japan were done to recent with the develop-and-import scheme of titanium and the tantalum of Kazakh. The cellular phone, the digital camera, and FPD, etc. were developed in full scale at the end of the 90's before long. The flow becomes full-scale more and more far from becoming weak when becoming 2000 years though IT revolution-induced boom was able to be played. Well, the the private agreement one billion of the advanced countries has consumed a luxurious resource though there is a population of about six billion people on the earth. However, I think that other five billion people began also to share gospel by the digital revolution now. The age of live-and-let-live comes to human race's wisdom exceeding a critical point of poverty and prosperity. We thought that a limited resource on the earth should be made the best use of in shape that harmony was able to be taken therefore. Only we doesn't only depend on Resource Development and the challenge to a saving resource, an alternative resource, a state oil stockpiling, recycling, and an untrodden technological field is important. We AMJ want to contribute to industry with the society as a rare metal special trading company while promoting "Harmony and symbiosis with the resource country" in the future.
